Project Overview

The Lomond Care Home has been equipped with a high-performance SolarEdge Solar PV system, designed to maximise energy efficiency and sustainability.

The installation includes:

• 62kW Solar PV Array, featuring 141 Longi 440W panels for optimal energy generation. 

• 2 x 25kW SolarEdge inverters with power optimisers, ensuring improved performance, real-time monitoring and enhanced safety. 

• Fastensol fitting kit for a secure and long-lasting installation. 

• Bird protection measures to prevent nesting and maintain long-term system efficiency. 

The installation process involved scaffolding setup, careful coordination to minimise disruption, and close collaboration with care home staff and residents. The team ensured a smooth and efficient install, capturing progress through on-site photos.
