Thorn Athletic Community Trust is a registered charity based in Renfrewshire. We enjoy a commercial partnership with OHMS Renewables which has seen them support our development and growth.
We provide football activities for children aged 18 months old to right through to walking football programmes for older adults who wish to stay active. Our facility at Thorn Athletic Sports Academy is home to our senior West of Scotland Football League side.
It’s also a welcoming base for many other groups and organisations who operate at the heart of our community.
Thorn Athletic has been established for more than 25 years and has enjoyed sporting success at every level. We have grown grassroots football steadily over that time and our project is unique.
We are affiliated to the Scottish Football Association and we have teams competing within the auspices of the West of Scotland League, Scottish Youth Football Association and Scottish Women’s Football.
The commitment given by OHMS Renewables to support our charitable and community work is testament to the ethos of those involved across the company.
Grassroots organisations like our own cannot thrive or survive without the constant support of modern and progressive companies like OHMS who understand the importance of the voluntary sector and what we are trying to achieve.
As main sponsors of the club’s home strip and the coaching staff we are looking to offer them prominent visibility of their corporate brand and ensure everyone knows the good work they are doing.
