Woodside Solar

Project Overview

The Woodside has undergone a major renewable energy upgrade with the installation of a 105kW SolarEdge Solar PV system, this will significantly enhance the energy efficiency and sustainability of the building.

The project includes:

• 105kW Solar PV Array, consisting of 239 Longi 440W panels, maximising the Solar energy generation. 

• 2 x 33.3kW SolarEdge inverters with power optimisers, ensuring higher efficiency, real-time performance monitoring, and enhanced safety features, these systems pack a punch. 

• Fastensol fitting kit for a secure and reliable installation. 

• Bird protection measures to prevent nesting and maintain system longevity. 

The installation process involved scaffolding setup, G99 application and careful coordination to minimise disruption to residents and staff. The team worked closely with the home, ensuring smooth communication and capturing progress through on-site evidence photos presented on completion with handover pack. The install was complete sooner than the duration allocated which allowed the home to return to normal duties quicker than expected.  

This state-of-the-art solar solution will help significantly reduce energy costs and support a more sustainable future for the home while enhancing EPC.
