ECO4 – Waterside Cottage

Project Overview

Our Waterside Cottage retrofit Eco4 project consisted of three Energy Efficiency Measures (Solar PV, Loft Insulation and High Heat Retention Heaters) this will enhance the properties EPC Rating, tenants’ pocket, valuation of property for landlord and environmentally achieves optimum results collectively.  

The tenant was very receptive after receiving our information letter to explain the status of the property and took OHMS up on the offer of FREE renewable energy upgrades, the landlord even more so… 

The installation included: 

• High Heat Retention Heaters for improved energy efficiency and comfort while in full control of the heat in your home 24/7. 

• 4.45kW Solar PV Array installed on a Slate Roof, featuring 10x Trina 445W Solar Panels coupled with a Solax Inverter for maximum generation on the property. 

• Loft Insulation – topped up to 300mm with ventilation strategy in place to achieve regulations including DMEV’s
